A mixed experience, unfortunately

small room basic breakfast

The room was smaller than expected, especially considering the price. Breakfast was quite basic. I hoped for more variety than just toast and cereal (i did want a full English). the noise level was a PROBLEM at night, with thin walls allowing sounds from other rooms and the hallway to filter through. I needed earplugs to get some sleep.

Mixed Feelings About This Stay

damp room bathroom fan

The staff were friendly initially, but issues arose. Our room smelled strongly of damp, and the promised blackout curtains were missing. This let in a lot of light early each morning. The bathroom fan didn't work, it made the humidity unbearable after showering. I wasn't informed about the extra charge for storing my surfboard overnight. This came as a surprise upon checkout. These issues detracted from what could have been a much better experience.

The location is convenient. It is close to beaches. The staff were cute. They gave us excellent recommendations for the local area.

The room was small. It was too small for 3 people. The mattresses were partly very worn. Breakfast was poor. There were only porridge and cereals available.
